A Personal & Professional DEEP Dive into the World of Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion & Equity

Participants will build a foundational and shared understanding of essential terms and norms related to race and equity and will begin to develop a culture of having difficult conversations across difference. Participants will also develop a personal WHY for engaging in equity work and will also have an accompanying Story of Self which supports communicating across differing stakeholders.

Participants will...

• Create a space to engage in dialogue about how we can move beyond diversity to create a culture of inclusion and equity in our organization
• Developing a shared meaning of key terms and definitions
• Incorporate tools to support conversations across lines of difference
• Support the community in developing a personal commitment to racial equity and justice

Pre-Meeting Assignments

• REQUIRED: Please bring an Internet-enabled device that allows access to Google Docs.
• If you don’t have access to the Knowledge Center, please sign up for an account here. 
• Please read Willing to be Disturbed by Margaret Wheatley.

A detailed agenda for the day will be sent one week before the event to all those who are registered to attend.
